Boundaries are everywhere: between physical states, between countries, between people, between truth and lies. Some boundaries are clearly visible to everyone, while others remain unrecognizable to some even after they have been crossed. Boundaries can be tested, sometimes shifted, but rarely abolished. Least of all those that mark the end of our existence. The BBK Oberfranken dedicates its 2024 annual exhibition to the boundary as the most universal phenomenon of existence.
